BULGARIAN COMPANIES
There are a number of different types of Bulgarian companies: as a Limited Liability Company (Ltd, in Bulgarian EOOD or OOD), with one or more shareholders or as a Public Limited Company (Plc, in Bulgarian EAD or AD).
Taxation is 10% corporate income tax rate, 0% in areas with high level of unemployment. 10% flat tax rate on personal income. Low operational costs. Suitable for online business activities. 5% tax on dividends and liquidation quotas.
0% tax on dividends for EU tax residents. No restrictions on after-tax repatriation of profits. Attractive for outsourcing of business activities.
